Not at all! We can work with your existing phone number by setting up call forwarding, or we can provide you with a new dedicated number. You keep your current number and tenants won't notice any change in how they contact you.

We integrate with all major property management platforms including AppFolio, Buildium, RentManager, Yardi, RealPage, and many others. If you're using a less common system, our team can work with you to create a custom integration.

During setup, we train the AI on your specific properties, policies, and procedures. The AI learns your lease terms, maintenance vendor contacts, emergency protocols, and more. It can answer common questions about rent payments, maintenance requests, lease terms, and property policies. For complex issues, it seamlessly transfers to you with full context.

Our AI is designed to have natural conversations that feel human-like. Most tenants don't realize they're speaking with an AI assistant. However, we always ensure transparency and the AI will identify itself if directly asked. Tenants appreciate the quick, accurate responses regardless of whether it's AI or human.

Rent Genie is trained to recognize emergency situations (water leaks, gas leaks, electrical issues, break-ins, etc.) and immediately escalate them to you and/or emergency services as appropriate. It can also dispatch emergency maintenance vendors from your approved list and keep detailed records of the incident for insurance and legal purposes.

Each plan includes a certain number of minutes per month (250 for Starter, 500 for Professional, 1000 for Enterprise). Minutes are calculated from the moment a call is answered until it ends. If you exceed your monthly allocation, additional minutes are charged at $0.25 per minute. You'll receive notifications as you approach your limit.

Yes! When you use our credit card processing service, we waive all monthly Rent Genie subscription fees. Our zero-fee program passes all processing costs to customers as a convenience fee, so you pay nothing for credit card transactions and nothing for Rent Genie. It's a complete win-win solution.

No long-term contracts required! All plans are month-to-month and you can cancel anytime with 30 days notice. We believe in earning your business every month with exceptional service, not locking you into lengthy agreements.
